Job Description
The Mixing Associate is responsible for creating quality product by weighing and mixing ingredients accurately and efficiently. This role involves ingredient transport, accurate ingredient weighing, checking allergen procedures, and maintaining a clean workspace. The position may involve heat-treating syrups.
Requirements
- Transport ingredients from warehouse staging area into the production room
- Using the given formula, weigh out dry and liquid ingredients accurately
- Stage weighed ingredients ready for mixing
- Track all ingredients and lot codes on appropriate paperwork
- Heat syrups in kettle (when necessary)
- Pay attention to and follow allergen and food safety procedures
- Add liquid and dry ingredients to the mixer
- Transport product from mixing to processing
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and turn into the Quality department
- Keep mixing area clean and close up all unused and opened ingredients
- Help in other areas of production as needed
