We are seeking a Tech Lead with solid experience in Ruby on Rails, to technically lead one of our squads.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Ruby on Rails (at least 5 years) with TDD/BDD (unit and integration tests), Git, code review, continuous integration, and development/test environments;
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other similar relational databases, MongoDB, and/or Redis;
- Experience in building and consuming APIs and maintaining service-based applications;
- Good experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
- Advanced knowledge of the HTTP protocol;
- Proficient in English (written and spoken);
- Basic knowledge of how Amazon Web Services works;
- Self-sufficient user of Linux or macOS (or Windows with WSL2) who is not afraid of the terminal;
- Prior experience in technical leadership (tech lead, mentoring, or coordinating initiatives);
- Ability to conduct 1:1s, provide constructive feedback, and follow up on team development;
- Experience with defining and following up on engineering metrics and agile processes;
- Ability to write clear, concise, and objective written communication - able to synthesize complex problems into short and actionable messages;
