Job Description
The Assistant Manager for Patient Care-Delivery provides support to the Patient Care Manager in the implementation and monitoring of patient care delivery standards. This role involves leadership, coordination, and evaluation of nursing staff to ensure quality, financials, employee engagement, and patient experience. It aligns with the organization’s strategic goals.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Advanced degree in nursing or equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- 1 year of leadership experience (or demonstrated leadership skills).
- Nursing Certification in leadership or related specialty (preferred).
- Healthcare/Nursing professional organization membership (preferred).
- New York State RN License (Vassar Brothers Hospital, Putnam Hospital, Northern Dutchess Hospital), CT State RN License (Danbury Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Sharon Hospital), or equivalent.
- Work in various exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and other hazards
