Job Description
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer functions as a healthcare provider providing clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Requirements
- Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment
- Assume responsibility for patient safety during sonographic examination
- Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information
- Use proper patient positioning tools and devices
- Review examination images and synthesize examination results
- Operate FUJI (PACS) and Cerner Millennium
- Assist with education and training of sonography students and physician residents
- Maintain and model Nuvance Health Values
