Doula (Per Diem) - NHMP Northern OB/GYN at Northern Dutchess Hospital - Rhinebeck, NY

Provides continuous emotional and physical support for a woman in labor and her immediate family. Provides comfort measures to laboring women and facilitates patients' wishes and birth plans. Conducts patient tours and assists childbirth educators. Attends monthly staff meetings and participates in committee meetings.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Completion of DONA (Doulas of North America) or CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association) in-person class
• Either DONA or CAPPA certification
• Excellent communication skills
