Job Description
Vassar Brothers Medical Center is seeking a Medical Director of the Labor and Delivery Department, a unique opportunity within a rapidly growing health system. This role involves leading a team of obstetricians, collaborating with nursing and support staff, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care. The position reports to the Vassar OBGYN Chair and oversees the Nuvance-Northwell-employed OBGYN physicians in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Requirements
- MD/DO with OBGYN residency training and board certification
- NY state licensure or eligibility to obtain NY state licensure
- 3+ years of practice
- Experience as a leader in a large hospital/medical center
