Job Description
Danbury Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking a Per Diem Pathologist to join their growing pathology group. The hospital provides comprehensive care and offers a diverse range of clinical services, including a cancer institute and expanding offerings. Nuvance Health is a learning affiliate of the University of Vermont and offers several positions within a comprehensive health system. This is an employed W-2 position.
Requirements
- MD or DO and completion of AP/CP Residency training
- Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in frozen sections, cytology interpretations (GYN and non-GYN), rapid on-site cytology assessments, and occasional autopsies
- CT and NY State Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience with frozen sections and cytology interpretations
- Ability to work efficiently in a laboratory setting.
