Job Description
The Registered Dietitian provides nutrition care to patients of all ages (neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) within the Food & Nutrition Department. They perform nutrition assessments, counsel patients on dietary and nutrition interventions, and participate in community programs to prevent/improve malnutrition. The role emphasizes clinical competency and adherence to ethical standards.
Requirements
- Complete nutrition assessment using Evidence-Based & validated tools (IDNT).
- Execute nutrition counseling plans for individual or community needs.
- Apply knowledge and communicate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate clinical competency through continuing education and accrediting body standards.
- Maintain a consistent attendance record and model Nuvance Health values.
