Join nVent as a Controls Engineering Technician to work on maintaining and improving the manufacturing lines of cutting-edge automation and robotics equipment. Collaborate with engineers and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot and repair equipment, and implement efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience with 2 years engineering / technical experience in a manufacturing environment or Technical College.
- Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI), control systems, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (Rockwell, Siemens, Omron) and control components.
- Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics including knowledge of redlining schematics for updates.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, diagnose machine and faults or minor issues including PLC or programming equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and industrial robotics troubleshooting or programming (ABB, Fanuc)
