Fabrication Operator

Skilled hands-on operator that sets up, tends, and maintains fabricating machines to cut, shape, and bend metal plates and sheets.

Requirements

• Reads shop work orders to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Understands bend allowances, thickness tolerances, and machine tonnage requirements
• Performs minor daily and weekly machine maintenance
• Rivets and spot welds work pieces
• Operates all material handling equipment
