Operator

Join Nyrstar Port Pirie as a Plant Operator! You will work in a shift team operating plant and equipment such as forklifts, cranes and jackhammers safely and efficiently to process material and make metals that are sold to the world’s markets.

Requirements

• Previous experience in heavy industry or Major Hazard Facilities is highly advantageous
• Tickets such as Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and/or Forklift licence preferred
• Physically fit – able to pass a pre-employment medical and undertake a physical Operator role
• Safety-focused and team-oriented
• Residentially based in Port Pirie or surrounding area
