Project Engineer - Electrical

The Project Engineer - Electrical will develop and implement plans to ensure completion of work to satisfy engineering requests and provide technical resources to production departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing electrical engineering projects to ensure they are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Minimum five years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the mining or metallurgical, refining, and/or chemical industry
• Proven experience in managing capital projects from conception to completion
• Strong knowledge of high to low voltage electrical systems, equipment, and materials used in zinc smelting and sulfuric acid production
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
