Job Description
To be the leading producer of glass bottles and jars worldwide, O-I is looking for a Forming Operator - Journeyman to join their team. The successful candidate will operate the bottle forming machine, perform defect analysis, and assist with breakdown repairs and job changes. The role requires previous experience with glass manufacturing and a Journeyman Card.
Requirements
- Previous experience with glass manufacturing and a Journeyman Card
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and some holiday coverage
- Ability to work safely in a hot, dirty and loud environment
- Commitment to meeting quality standards, comply with SOP's, and willing to learn SPC
