Job Description
To be a Plant Maintenance Engineer at O-I, you will work in a glass manufacturing plant, responsible for planned and reactive mechanical maintenance inspections and breakdowns. You will work with stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering services, using your mechanical and electrical experience. O-I offers a competitive salary, pension plan, holidays, and benefits.
Requirements
- Time served Mechanical Engineer (Modern Apprenticeship/City & Guilds or similar)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment on bearings, gearboxes, drive couplings, welding, fabricating, pipework, pneumatics, vibration analysis, lifting and slinging, compressed gases, combustion gas
- Electrical experience to complete basic electrical tasks safely
- Formulation with Inspection Reports, Permit to Work Systems, Safe Systems of Work, LOTO Procedures, Fault Finding and Microsoft Office
