Portero - Guarda de Seguridad

We are seeking a Security Guard to provide security to workers and visitors, as well as company assets, under strict access control, inspections, and rounds. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in similar positions and a secondary education.

Requirements

• Provide security to workers and visitors, as well as company assets, under strict access control, inspections, and rounds.
• Control pedestrian and vehicle access and exit, verifying that entry or exit is previously authorized and that all personnel entering are fully identified with a corresponding ID badge to the area they are going to, according to procedure.
• Physically verify vehicles of transporters, suppliers, contractors, and employees, ensuring security to prevent the entry of people in an unfavorable state or with drugs, firearms, or any other physical or chemical element that may cause risk, danger, or damage to workers or company installations.
• Review vehicles, bags, or packages upon entry and exit of personnel according to procedure.
• Validate that all visitors register in the corresponding logbook and are given an identification badge according to the area they are going to.
• Report to the shift supervisor and document through photographic evidence all anomalies, incidents, or risks found during the plant rounds.
• Receive calls and route them to the corresponding areas.
• Receive incoming mail and deliver it to the general warehouse, previously documented in the established formats.
• Update and archive in order all documents made as control of entries and exits of employees according to the list provided by Human Resources, tools, warehouse exits, and shipment validations ensuring that the information on the documents matches the material.
