Job Description
The Integrated Operations & Infrastructure Specialist position at Oak Ridge National Laboratory is responsible for serving as the Division Point of Contact for all Facilities related activities within the Division, coordinating and prioritizing Facilities related activities, and working with the Operations Manager and Line Management to develop a strategy and plan with the Facilities organization. The position requires a BS degree in engineering or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Requirements
- Serve as the Division Point of Contact for all Facilities related activities within the Division
- Coordinate and prioritize Facilities related activities
- Work with the Operations Manager and Line Management to develop a strategy and plan with the Facilities organization
- Identify reliability risks in aging infrastructure/equipment and develop implementation plans to mitigate risks and prevent unplanned outages
- Ensure effective planning and timely communication to all stakeholders of planned outages, maintenance, and equipment installations
