Job Description
The Corporate Accounting Department at Oaktree is seeking an Accounting Analyst responsible for supporting the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and analyzing financial results. The successful candidate must have great organizational skills and be able to handle complicated work efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, operational accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting, operations, account analysis, and management reporting
- Excellent understanding of business operations and linkage to accounting in order to initiate and lead process improvements and documentation of standard operating procedures
- Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
- Specific experience with Workday systems a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
