Assistant Vice President – Risk, Reporting & Analytics

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President - Risk, Reporting & Analytics to join our team at Oaktree Capital Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering best-in-class, technology-enabled analyses and reporting to our current and prospective investors, and portfolio management professionals globally. The role will involve developing analyses and reports related to our portfolios and positions, leading the implementation of process changes and automated reports, and collaborating with organizational partners to produce and advance R&P deliverables.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience at an institutional investor asset management company, investment bank or other financial services company
• Experience utilizing Python, SQL and/or data visualization tools
• Deep knowledge of alternative investments broadly as well as specific knowledge of relevant reporting/dashboard outputs and metrics
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to work cross-functionally and at all levels internally
• Basic understanding of project management software such as Jira, Confluence
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts
