Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President, Tax to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing projects and work streams within the tax reporting function at Oaktree, with a focus on providing real-time tax data and analytics to streamline reporting and support informed decision-making.
Requirements
- 7-9 years of relevant tax experience
- Bachelor's degree relevant to position and CPA preferred, a Master's degree a plus
- Strong knowledge of general accounting, with knowledge of financial investment issues being a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Outstanding initiative, eagerness to learn and strong work ethic
- Customer oriented and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-driven, team-oriented and strong integrity and professionalism
- Familiarity with and understanding of a busy tax season
