Senior Associate, Investment Data and Reporting, Risk, Reporting & Analytics (APAC)

Oaktree is seeking a Senior Associate, Investment Data and Reporting, to join their Risk, Reporting & Analytics department. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of technical experience in data lake/data warehouse technologies and alternative investments. The role will involve overseeing deal data throughout the investment life cycle, building extracts, reports, and dashboards, and collaborating with various teams to ensure robust data and deliverables.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant technical experience developing/implementing data lake/data warehouse technologies
• Solid knowledge of alternative investments broadly as well as specific knowledge of relevant reporting/dashboard outputs and metrics
• Strong technical skills with all data warehousing and integration technologies
• Excellent data modeling skills (normalization/denormalization, data warehouse schema types, dimensional)
• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI or other reporting platforms
• Expertise and hands on software development required in one or more languages/frameworks such as Python, Scala/Spark
• Knowledge of cloud-based data services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Track record of leading solution delivery of end-to-end data projects
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodology using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
