Job Description
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) provides essential personal care and related services within the home setting, supporting patient well-being and implementing prescribed care plans.
Requirements
- Graduate of a certified assistant nurse program
- Licensed Certified Nurse Assistant in the applicable state or Certificate of Training as an HHA
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant or HHA
- Two years experience in home health preferred
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Understanding of the principles of nursing
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
- Compassion and empathy skills
- Ability to think critically and solve problems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Organization skills
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality with regard to protected and sensitive information
Benefits
- Pay: $17-$20 per hour
