Job Description
Operation Blessing (OB) is seeking an On-Call Truck Driver to transport product to and from assigned local pick-up and delivery locations, facilitating ministry activities and contributing to OB's Biblical mission.
Requirements
- Ability to perform FMCSA compliant vehicle inspections and accurately complete DVIRs
- Ability to handle stress, and meet deadlines and time demands
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective rapport with OB donors, ministries and dispatch staff
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, push/pull, stoop, and lift 50+ lbs
- Prefer Class “A” or Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License, but not required
- Able to safely navigate roads in a 26 foot box truck
- Prefer 2 years local driving experience or eligible military experience
- No DMV chargeable offenses for most recent 3-years prior to employment with OB
- Demonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with OB’s nonprofit Christian mission
