Ocala Eye is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage patient information, verify insurance eligibility, and ensure a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred
• Proficiency in using digital technology for patient management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume environment
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
• Strong attention to detail, particularly in managing patient information and verifying insurance details
• Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• High level of emotional intelligence to understand, manage, and respond effectively to patients' and team members' needs and concerns
