Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform various maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and experience in repair and maintenance. The position requires physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing ladders, lifting, and carrying heavy objects. The technician will work outdoors in all weather conditions and may be required to work overtime.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in repair, maintenance and replacement in areas of carpentry, painting, plumbing, glass replacement, masonry, appliance repair, HVAC, electrical wiring and basic locksmith knowledge
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to maintain and utilize hand and power tools
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to building and construction
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Entry level computer skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work overtime on an as needed basis
- Accept training to obtain necessary certificates
- Ability to speak, read and understand English
