Job Description
OceanX is seeking a post-doctoral associate in marine eDNA and meta genomics to work on the research vessel OceanXplorer. The position involves nucleic acid sequencing, genome assembly, and data analysis.
Requirements
- PhD in molecular biology and genomics
- Ability to work and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Experience in marine eDNA purification and analysis, genome assembly and analysis
- Ability to work independently and with international scientists
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications
- Strong project management capabilities
- Proven track record of taking initiative and multi-tasking
