eDNA Post-Doctoral Associate

OceanX is seeking a post-doctoral associate in marine eDNA and meta genomics to work on the research vessel OceanXplorer. The position involves nucleic acid sequencing, genome assembly, and data analysis.

Requirements

• PhD in molecular biology and genomics
• Ability to work and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
• Experience in marine eDNA purification and analysis, genome assembly and analysis
• Ability to work independently and with international scientists
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral communications
• Strong project management capabilities
• Proven track record of taking initiative and multi-tasking
