Job Description
We are seeking an Athletic Trainer to join our team at Ochsner Health. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in athletic training and a Current Athletic Trainer license in the state of practice. The Athletic Trainer will plan, organize, and conduct the athletic trainer program based on management direction and physician evaluation. The role involves maintaining injury logs, communicating with physicians, and participating in continuing education programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in athletic training
- Current Athletic Trainer license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Ability to tolerate temperature of 100 degrees or more for three hours during outdoor events
- Ability to travel throughout and between facilities and work a flexible work schedule
