Job Description
Ochsner Health seeks a RN - Emergency Department - Days to join their team. This role requires a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. The incumbent will be responsible for providing patient care using the nursing process and delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification within 30 days of hire
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area
