RN - Med Surg - Variable Shifts - Full Time - St. Mary Hospital - Morgan City

Ochsner Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in the Med Surg department at St. Mary Hospital in Morgan City, Louisiana. The RN will utilize the Nursing Process to deliver patient care and will be responsible for delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members. The RN will also be expected to exhibit cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions and maintain involvement in activities aimed toward the achievement of unit and department strategic goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse Diploma
• Current RN License in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Certification in clinical specialty area (optional)
• Computer skills and dexterity for data entry and retrieval of information
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to present information clearly and professionally
• Proficiency with Windows-style applications and various software packages
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good time management skills and self-directed
