RN - OALH Med Surg - PRN

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Med Surg department at Ochsner Health. The RN will provide patient care using the nursing process, delegate and direct team members, and maintain a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in nursing, current RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Certification in clinical specialty area (preferred)
• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time management skills and ability to be self-directed
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement
