Job Description
The Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Pharmacist maintains and ensures complete and appropriate drug therapy in a multidisciplinary pharmaceutical care environment. The role provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers, resolves prior authorizations, and works with the Specialty Fulfillment team to ensure timely receipt of medications and compliance with drug therapy.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 Pharmacy Practice Residency
- 2 years experience as pharmacist
- Experience in specialty pharmacy
- License to practice Pharmacy by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy
- Multi-state licensure
