Surgical Technician - Baptist - F/T

We're looking for a Surgical Technician to join our team at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. As a Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of equipment and supplies for endoscopy/surgical procedures, scrubbing for surgical procedures, and assisting with endoscopy procedures. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or military program
• 5 years of Surgical Technologist Experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
• Certification in surgical technology (preferred)
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability)
• Physical demands include exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
