Job Description
Surgical Technician- OLGMC position at Ochsner Health requires availability of equipment and supplies for endoscopy/surgical procedures, competently scrubbing for surgical procedures, and assisting for endoscopy procedures. The position is full-time and requires a graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or 5 years of Surgical Technologist Experience.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program or military program (Online surgical tech programs not accepted)
- 5 years of Surgical Technologist Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
- Certification in surgical technology
