APAC Senior Reporter, Private Credit & Leveraged Finance

Octus is seeking an experienced capital markets reporter to expand its APAC coverage of private credit and primary HY yield bond issuances. The role requires producing deal scoops and market trends stories, working with the existing region-wide team of journalists, credit analysts, and data specialists.

Requirements

• Proven track record in financial journalism with a deep specialization in capital markets, ideally private credit and or/HY bonds.
• Strong command of the financial mechanisms underpinning private credit, syndicated loans, bonds, and distressed debt restructurings.
• Self-starter with effective interpersonal skills capable of navigating a fast-paced environment, sophisticated financial sources and AI.
