Leveraged Finance Reporter

Octus is seeking highly motivated reporters to join us in covering primary leveraged finance and deal origination. Ideal candidate should be highly curious, self-motivated and possess outstanding interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience writing about M&A, debt capital markets, and preferably leveraged finance and LBOs
• Excellent interpersonal skills; self-motivated; ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced newsroom environment
• Ability to write clearly and concisely under deadline pressure and derive trends from issuance, pricing and other market patterns
• Passion for obtaining scoops through outreach and cultivation of sources among highly sophisticated market participants to obtain scoops in the market
• Collaborative and enjoy working in a multicultural team environment
