Senior Analytics Engineer

Octus is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to help unlock the power of data-driven decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will take ownership of our dbt models and Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the data infrastructure that shapes company strategy.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data engineering
• Expert-level SQL skills with proven ability to model complex, high-volume datasets in a cloud data warehouse
• Hands-on experience with dbt (Core or Cloud), including advanced features
• Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools
• Experience with Python for data transformation, scripting, or pipeline work is a plus
• Background in financial data, pipeline modeling, or SaaS/fintech analytics strongly preferred
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
