Prepress Technician

Outlook Group is seeking an experienced Prepress Technician to prepare, optimize, and troubleshoot packaging and print files. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the printing and packaging industry and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and prepress/packaging software.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications, Printing Technology, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in prepress or related print production roles
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
• Working knowledge of Esko, ArtPro, or other prepress/packaging software
• Experience with variable data printing (VDP) and related programming or database tools
• Understanding of offset, flexographic, and digital printing processes
• Solid grasp of color management, imposition, and trapping principles
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments
