Job Description
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a Correction Officer to work at the Dayton Correctional Institution. The role involves maintaining control of the institution, supervising inmate activity, and ensuring the safety and security of the facility, inmates, staff, and general public.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver's license for positions assigned to transportation section &/or commercial driver's license to drive vehicles qualifying as commercial
- Pass a correction officer assessment or have previously been certified in position of correction officer
