Job Description
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified physician in psychiatry to work part-time on site at the Ohio State Penitentiary (OSP). The selected psychiatrist will treat a caseload of male patients alongside a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner as part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary treatment team.
Requirements
- Certificate to practice medicine in state of Ohio as issued by State Medical Board
- Ability to work collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff
- Familiarity with nationally recognized treatment standards
- Ability to manage medication and make referrals for specialized care or treatment
