Transportation Engineer 3/Traffic Design Engineer, PN 20060609

This position will be within the District 7 Capital Programs Department, specifically the in-house Roadway Engineering team at the District Headquarters in Sidney, OH. Working under the District Roadway Design Engineer, you will review plans as a subject matter expert for maintenance of traffic and traffic control, provide direction and comments to project managers, designers, and other project staff, perform site visits, and perform drafting/CADD as the program necessitates.

Requirements

• Licensed as registered professional engineer by Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors
• 12 mos. exp. as group or project leader providing work direction & training to engineering technicians &/or lower-level engineers or 12 mos. exp. in conducting engineering related research
• Valid Driver's License Required to operate state vehicle
