Behavioral Health Independent Clinician ED (LISW/LPCC) 36 hours, Nights

This position is responsible for providing services to patients, families, and significant others including completion of biopsychosocial assessments, psychiatric diagnoses, formulation of treatment plans and treatment interventions, therapy sessions (individual, couples, family or group), implementation of treatment plans and discharge planning. The Clinician can practice independently and without supervision, as permitted by the State of Ohio licensure.

Requirements

• Conducts patient/family/significant other interviews, charts reviews and professional collaboration to obtain and interpret information pertaining to patient biopsychosocial functioning.
• Develops preliminary diagnosis formulation.
• Develops and implements plan of intervention based on assessment.
• Maintains awareness of current hospital and community services to assist patient biopsychosocial functioning.
• Thoroughly documents assessments and interventions in patient's medical record and information systems in accordance with department standards.
