Job Description
We are seeking a Lactation Consultant to participate in the development and implementation of lactation services, providing patient care through individualized consultation, telephone help line, and assisting with breastfeeding problems.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
- Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
- Highly developed interpersonal relationship skills
- Advanced leadership, communication and clinical skills
- Thorough understanding of the principles of adult education
- Strong knowledge base in physiology and pathophysiology related to breastfeeding patient
- Clinical experience in perinatal areas with focus on post-partum care
