Job Description
The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for the overall success of the Fabrication Department, including supervision, coordination, planning, and monitoring of day-to-day activities. The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CPD fabrication main line, offline, and subsea weld shop.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience as Welding Supervisor
- Thorough knowledge of weld symbols
- Ability to read fabrication and machining drawings
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS - Excel, MS - Word
- Familiarity with SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW & SAW welding processes
- Familiarity in welding of AISI 4130 and AISI 8630, F22 and X80 material
- Ability to mentor and train welders
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform independently and also as part of a team
- High ability to adapt to changes & work under pressure as well as tight timelines
- High level of commitment to achieve results, collaborates effectively towards achieving the agreed targets
- Effective written & verbal communication as well as presentation skills
