CNC Set-Up Machinist

We are looking for a skilled CNC Set-Up Machinist to join a reputable oil & gas manufacturing facility.

Requirements

• Set up CNC mills and lathes according to blueprints and work instructions
• Carry out complete machine setups, including: Selection and installation of tooling, Setting offsets and performing touch-offs, Securing work holding and fixturing, Confirm and validate first-article quality prior to production release
• Edit programs and adjust speeds and feeds as required
• Diagnose and resolve setup issues to ensure machines are ready for production
• Maintain precise tolerances and consistent part quality
• Run initial production runs and assist operators when necessary
• Over 5 years of experience in CNC machining
• At least 3 years of experience independently setting up CNC machines (mandatory)
