Requirements
- Investigate all lines insurance claims within assigned territory and limits of authority
- Obtain loss reports, insured/witness/claimant statements, medical/police reports, appraisals, repair estimates, etc.
- Determine coverage and extent of loss/liability
- Prepare claims summaries
- Settle claims within limits of authority
