Job Description
Okta is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to work on our Advanced Apps team, focusing on enhancing and managing connectors to SaaS applications. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in Java, SCIM, and Spring Boot, and a deep understanding of infrastructure level technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Software Development in Java
- Experience with SCIM and Spring Boot
- 6+ years of development experience building services, internal tools, and frameworks
- 4+ years experience automating and deploying large scale production services in AWS, GCP, or similar
- Deep understanding of infrastructure level technologies: caching, stream processing, resilient architectures
- Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP APIs
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and people of various backgrounds
- Lead and mentor junior engineers
