Job Description
We're looking for a Software Engineer Manager to help us scale and increase velocity in Okta Engineering. You will drive and perfect our vision of Continuous Delivery, increasing the velocity and productivity of engineering.
Requirements
- Drive the strategy for building and incorporating AI/ML-powered tools to enhance developer velocity, automate complex tasks in the Continuous Integration, and provide intelligent insights into system performance and code quality.
- Ability to articulate and drive a technical, strategic vision and roadmap
- Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Program Management, Operations and other scrum teams.
- Recruit and mentor a globally distributed and talented group of diverse employees
- Build high quality tools and automation for internal use to support continuous delivery and developer productivity
- Roll out deliverables to internal customers in phases, monitor adoption, collect feedback, and fine-tune the project to respond to internal customers’ needs.
- Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement
