Job Description
Okta is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for DevSecOps, Infrastructure Security, and SRE to join their Workforce Identity Cloud Security Engineering group. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining security solutions to harden their cloud infrastructure, ensuring the safety, privacy, and reliability of their services. The engineer will act as a liaison between Security and Engineering teams, driving alignment and contributing to future roadmap improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in DevSecOps or Cloud infrastructure security
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud providers
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles, Linux fundamentals, OS hardening, networking concepts, and IP protocols
- Experience with Chef and Terraform
- Understanding of configuration management tools like Chef and Terraform
- Experience with industry-standard security tools like Nessus, Qualys, OSQuery, Splunk
- Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and secrets management
- BS in computer science (or equivalent experience)
