Staff Software Engineer, Platform Streaming (Auth0)

Okta is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join their Platform Streaming team. The team builds services and operates data pipeline infrastructure to support event streaming, messaging, and analytics use cases. The successful candidate will help set the technical direction for the team and influence the engineering roadmap for the Platform's streaming capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Experience working with Golang or Java
• Hands-on experience designing, developing and tuning highly-scalable, event-driven systems
• Solid understanding of database fundamentals and experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka
• A passion and interest to work on systems that are highly reliable, maintainable, scalable and secure.
