Class A CDL Local Driver

Old Dominion is seeking a hardworking and reliable individual to join the OD Family as a Local P&D or City Driver, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of freight between service centers and customer locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) with hazardous materials and twin/triple trailer endorsements
• 12 months previous tractor-trailer driving experience or be a graduate of a State Certified, Licensed and Safety Department approved driving school
• Ability to read, write, speak English and perform simple mathematical calculations
• Good oral communications skills and ability to follow instructions
• Knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems and DOT regulations
• Ability to pass a drug test, alcohol test, and meet or exceed medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation
