Job Description
Old Mission is a global proprietary trading firm seeking a talented Quantitative Researcher to join their growing Fixed Income operation. The role involves building and improving risk and pricing models, forecasting bond and commodity metrics, and contributing to trade execution. The firm values employee growth and operates with a team-centric environment.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in quantitative field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Proficiency in Python, VBA, or R.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Superior communication skills.
- Experience in US corporate bonds
- Previous experience in TCA, execution quality assessment, and execution algorithms
- Experience with credit pricing, credit curve models, and RFQ-based trading (desirable).
- Experience with Bayesian filtering/Hidden Markov Models (desirable).
